Go Into All The World
Evangelism by definition, is to tell the good news of salvation to the lost of the world. The onus to evangelise, is the responsibility of the Church and the individual alike. Regarding preaching the good news, Jesus said this…
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV)
We take the call from Jesus, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation, very seriously indeed. We are active in many forms of evangelism; none more so than personal. We do not seek to save the world; it has a Saviour already. Neither do we seek to convert the world. God Himself will do this. We seek simply to preach the gospel with whatever consequence that brings.
Every now and then we will have special meetings and services geared toward the proclamation of the gospel to those who are lost, but our emphasis, by and large, is upon a personal witness to those around us.
