Preaching

Traditionally, preaching in the congregation (and many others) is performed by one or two fully paid workers. The other men of the congregation where also encouraged to take to the pulpit, in order to develop their skills and bring their own brand of preaching to the congregation. This provided a wider range of technique and content and therefore maintained a healthy variety in the preaching of God's Word.

However, the Castlemilk congregation no longer enjoys the luxury of a full-time preacher/worker and so the preaching is handled by a number of able men in the body.
